A FEW OF MY FAVORITE THINGS

This outfit combines a few of my favorite things.  First these pants.  When I bought them I never would have thought I would wear them as much as I do.  I should have known though, considering they are about as comfortable as pajamas.  Secondly, these shoes, in no way do they compare on the comfort level but for reasons I'm even unsure of I absolutely love them.  The love is still there despite almost face planting in numerous times.  Do you have items like that in your closet?

I suppose there has been a lot going on around here considering it has been somehow impossible for me to post anything!  Regardless, this top is one of my favorites from last summer and I was so excited to pull it out again.  It's definitely one of those that made me feel like I should be sipping a margarita on a beach in Mexico, but I had to settle for a casual dinner at my parents.  But that's always better than dinner at home!

When I first saw this two piece set I thought it was the cutest thing and imagined all the ways I would wear it (like I usually do when I really want something).  I knew I would obviously wear them together but also thought they would be cute on their own and liked that I would have lots of options.  When i wore it though, my sister let me know she was pretty positive she had this exact outfit as a 90's child.  Nothing like an older sister to bring you all the way down.

I've been getting a little sick this week so I'm gonna keep this one short and sweet.  I love dresses and I really love this one, the open back is definitely what got me with this little number.  The sweet floral pattern and loose fit made it the perfect dress to wear for a casual and busy Saturday.
