This time of year there is nothing that tops my wish list more than a cozy sweater.  It's the center and backbone to almost every outfit I wear.  The problem, however, is that a cozy sweater can lend itself to a less than impressive look if it's not done right and that's why having the right pieces and correct styling are very important.  It can take an outfit based around a sweater from boring to stylish just by adding the right pieces to it.  

Shoes are a close second on my wish list this time of year and can help take your look from lack luster to cool and cute.  The sneaker option above is perfect for the girl on the go while the black boots can dress her up.  The final touch to any outfit this time of year and what can really set a comfy sweater outfit apart, is adding a touch of glam with jewelry.  Both pairs of earrings are the perfect touch for any daytime look.

The problem I always run into when shopping for others is that I oftentimes want one for myself.  These looks above, while similar, are different enough that I could get away with buying one for her and one for me.  Total win-win if you ask me.

I have been wearing a lot of solid neutrals lately but all I have wanted to shop for is prints, prints, and more prints.  There's just something about spring that makes me (and I think almost everyone) gravitate towards an outfit full of color and print.  I actually already scooped up the sunflower two piece set from Asos and can't wait to wear it both together and separately.  Is there anything you guys have had your eyes set on so far this Spring?

Maybe it's the warm weather we've been having here or the fact that spring clothes are already hitting the shelves but I think I have Spring fever.  It's sad, really, because I haven't even had the chance to wear the winter things I got for Christmas yet and I'm already onto the next.  Regardless, I'm loving metallic shoes, bold prints, and cool watches as of late.  Not that I need any of these things but they're pretty cool.  Anything in particular you'd like to get your hands on?

With Christmas right around the corner I thought a gift guide was only necessary.  This one is for the everyday girl with a little punch.  Not too cool not too sweet.  Some of these are definitely my favorite things and some are things I have never tried (the nars lip pencil, so cool!) I really really do love a good coat.  Unfortunately for me, I don't really need more than one.  I don't live in a cold climate nor do I travel to one often.  I have one black coat and while it's cute and the style is nice it's just a black coat.  So here I present to you something a little more interesting, the statement coat.  Those of you who can not only get away with having more than one coat but might actually need more than one, I urge you to invest in something out of the ordinary  It would give any outfit the punch it needs.  So get on it!

I don't know about you, but I have been wanting more leather in my life lately.  The problem, however is that I just can't swing the price tag on most of the items.  I know, I know it will last forever, it's a classic, blah blah blah.  That's all good and great but I want too many things to splurge on one skirt/jacket/top.  So I compiled a few skirts that totally give you the look without breaking the bank.  I already bought one and tried for another (sadly they are sold out of my size).  I hope one of these tickles your fancy and you are able to get the look for far less.

In the fall (and generally winter) this is totally my "go-to" look.  A comfy sweater, a pair of skinny's and either a flat or heeled bootie.  I just don't think you can go wrong with this combo.  I generally keep it pretty neutral with little pops here and there.

I just ordered these booties and cannot wait for them to arrive.  I'm pretty sure they'll jazz up any old outfit.  I'm so excited for fall clothes!  What's your "go-to" as the weather starts to cool off?

I've been loving all things leather lately.  It can make you feel a little more edgy than you might actually be and that's always a fun thing.  It's also a great way to transition into fall before the weather catches up with you.  I especially love the J.Crew tee and the Madewell skirt!  These two are definitely on my list!

Here is my collection of "not ready for fall but done with summer" items that I want to get in my closet.  Ever since the Spring I have totally been digging bedazzled blouses, my only concern is their durability.  Who knows what I think I'm going to be doing in a bedazzled shirt that it will just fall apart.  But really could that jacket be any cuter?  It's perfection and would transition beautifully.  Oh the life of a girl who wants to make a home for every cute item of clothing...  Someday I will, and it will be a lovely home.

This dress was a love at first sight kind of moment.  I loved the low back (I do have a tan!), the asymmetrical hem and the simple print.  I immediately envisioned all of the ways I would be able to wear it and the places we would go together.  So, I ordered it.  And then it arrived and unfortunately it wasn't quite as dreamy as I expected, small chest problems, you know.  My husband thought I should return it (like always) but no, I would never.  The dreams will come true one way or another.  A few stitches here and there will never crush my dreams.

While I wouldn't describe my style as supe feminine, there is just something about an eyelet top!  Am I right?  Whenever I go shopping with my husband it's the first thing I pick up and everytime he says "Well that's no surprise".  I could wear one everyday if only there were enough in my closet!

I've always been a sandal girl, if I could, I would wear them all year long.  But since that's not possible (even in Southern California) I look forward to summer all.year.long.
