c/o Handvaerk Tee // H&M Shorts, Similar // Madewell Purse, Similar // Madewell Wedges // Madewell Sunnies

Jeans shorts and a black tee.  This combo sure has been done before but it's still one of my faves.  Pairing these high waisted shorts with this more fitted tee just felt cool and definitely comfy.  Everyone knows that a black tee can go with just about anything and this one is no exception.  Basics are meant to be paired with everything in your closet -- dressed up and dressed down.

Sometimes though, when your basics are worn so often they show it.  The seams fall apart or the fabric gets a hole which can be a bummer when it's what you reach for most often.  That's why this handvaerk tee is great to invest in.  They are made to last with the highest quality materials and thought out design.  No need to worry now that your favorite tee will no longer be around.

Make sure you check back tomorrow to see if you won the Adore Me Giveaway!

Anthropologie Dress // Aldo Shoes // Madewell Bag // Target Watch // Selima Sunglasses

Sorry 90% of the country.  I know this outfit is really not relevant right now but it has been 80 plus here since Christmas so a weekend getaway to the desert was in order.  I got a slight tan lounging by the pool over the weekend plus my sister an nephew joined in on the fun.  It was an all around great weekend and now I'm ready for a new week!

Only two days left, remember to enter my giveaway here!

J.Crew Sweater, want this one // Urban Outfitters Jeans // J.Crew Wedges // Madewell Bag, Similar // Ray-Ban Sunnies // J.Crew Link Bracelet // Target Watch

Some days just call for the simplest of combos.  Dark jeans, a chunky sweater and a pink lip did the trick in this one.  Also, I know I wear these wedges a lot but they are the most comfortable shoe.  I know they're a bit of an investment but if you are looking to do just that I would definitely recommend them.

So excited it's the weekend!  My husband and I are lucky enough to be headed on a little weekend trip where it will be nice and warm!  Perfect for relaxing.  Do you guys have anything on the agenda?

So here's the thing with green juice, I can't fully commit.  I like the fruity one's with a little kale to make it look like a veggie juice.  I just can't call kale, spinach and cucumber juice!  So here's one of my favorite juices (real juice, people).  I'm like a child, you have to trick me into drinking my greens!

INGREDIENTS: (makes 2 servings)
2 Apples
4 Celery Sticks
1 Orange
1 Chunk Ginger
1/2 A Lemon
1/2 A Cucumber
3 Kale Leaves

I prefer my juice super cold so I either refrigerate it over night or put it on ice (and sometimes both!) I hope you enjoy it!

My daily essentials: Ilana bra c/o Adore Me

I don't know about you, but bras and bra shopping aren't really my thing.  I've always been this way, just ask my mom.  When she tried to get me to wear my first bra I refused and threw it in the trashcan.  And when she tried to take me bra shopping months later, I threw a big old fit.  Pre-teen style.  My reaction these days isn't quite so strong but there's something about picking them out, potentially getting sized, trying them on (I could continue if you'd like but I'm sure you get the gist) that seems like too much of a hassle.  So about once every 3 years I go bra shopping (yikes!).

Here's the good news though, it doesn't have to be that difficult or happen as rarely.  I've discovered this amazing online lingerie boutique called Adore Me.  They have a huge selection of items, including bra and underwear sets, sleepwear, and even swimwear!  Everything is affordable (ranging from $39.50- $59.99), super cute and most importantly (to me at least) it's comfortable.  I chose the Ilana because the gingham print was too cute to pass up.  It happens to be a push up bra which I am usually not a fan of because they take my boobs places they're not meant to be.  This one is different though it does the right amount of pushing without being out of line, keeping me comfortable all day.

The site is also super easy to use.  You can take a style quiz at the beginning so your shopping experience is quick and customized to your taste.  If you're still unsure, read more about Adore Me here and make sure you enter my giveaway so you can try it out and see what you think for yourself.

*This giveaway will end next Wednesday, January 29th!

The bra was too cute to hide completely under my clothes so I let it peek out a bit!

 H&M Kimono, Similar // J.Crew Cami // Old Navy Jeans // J.Crew Booties // Madewell Bag, Similar // c/o Adore Me Bra

I've got to say, weekends just can't be beat.  There's just something so nice about waking up and knowing that work will not be involved.  Saturday was full of relaxing and lounging around which was much needed around these parts.  However, Sunday was chalk full of things to do.  We started the morning at the flea market searching for the perfect coffee table.  We found some contenders but my heart was already set on this beauty so there were no real finds other than some pretty cool sequin tops that made their way home with me.  Since the flea market solidified the fact that the West Elm coffee table was the one we headed there to check that off the list.  We rounded the day off with drinks, dinner and a birthday celebration with some friends.  So there are no complaints over here!

This was the perfect outfit for the flea market considering we have been having some pretty beautiful weather here.  It was comfy, cool and easy to walk in.  You may notice a little lace popping out so make sure you check back tomorrow for a fun little giveaway!  Hope your weekend was just what you needed!

Asos Coat // F21 Sweater, Similar // Madewell Necklace, Similar // J.Crew Jeans // J.Crew Booties, Similar // Madewell Bag

I wanted this coat for a while.  I mean it made it to two other posts, see here & here.  So when my husband got it for me for Christmas I was super excited and glad that he picked up on the hints!  However, the weather was obviously not cooperating since it never does so it sat sadly on the back of the kitchen chair until it made it into my bedroom where it hung outside the closet.  That's when I decided I had had enough and wore it regardless.  It's the perfect statement coat and added so much to a very basic outfit.

There are so many coats like this one on sale right now so I recommend going out and getting one for yourself.  Your closet will be happy, that I promise.

J.Crew Beanie // J.Crew Sweater, Similar // J.Crew Necklace // Old Navy Jeans // J.Crew Wedges // Madewell Bag // Selima Sunnies

I would love to go in depth and explain the reasoning behind this outfit and the fact that no, the beanie was not necessary on a 72 degree day, however, Revenge is on and I've got priorities.  Plus I think it the outfit is pretty self explanatory.

Hope you had a great weekend!

J.Crew Heels // J.Crew Shorts // Gap Sweater // Ray-Ban Aviators // Marc Jacobs Watch // Asos Skirt

Maybe it's the warm weather we've been having here or the fact that spring clothes are already hitting the shelves but I think I have Spring fever.  It's sad, really, because I haven't even had the chance to wear the winter things I got for Christmas yet and I'm already onto the next.  Regardless, I'm loving metallic shoes, bold prints, and cool watches as of late.  Not that I need any of these things but they're pretty cool.  Anything in particular you'd like to get your hands on?

You know those nights when you don't want something heavy but you do want something comforting and satisfying?  I suppose that would be most nights.  Well this is the perfect meal!  Plus it makes excellent leftovers too!

Chicken Sausage ( I like a spicy one)
Butternut Squash
Goat Cheese

1. Cut squash into small cubes.  Put on cookie tray with a little olive oil and roast until golden brown or crispy.
2. Boil water and cook pasta.
3. Cut sausage and saute when the pasta is done cooking.
4. When the sausage is almost done cooking add spinach to pot.
5.  Combine pasta, squash, spinach and sausage and stir around until it's mixed well.
6.  Add goat cheese and mix until it is melted.
7. Enjoy!

*my sausage wasn't as spicy as I would like so I added chile flakes!

Free People Top // Uo Jeans // J.Crew Booties // Madewell Bag, Similar // Madewell Sunnies // Watch // J.Crew Watch // Madewell Rings

Oh peplum, it's one of those trends that I can't really believe is still around yet I'm so happy that it still is.  It has the tendency to hide those trouble areas which is totally fine by me.  This is another one of those items that I stalked online until I got it for a steal and now I wish I had gotten all the colors.  It's just so easy and comfy and with the warmer weather we've been having here lately, the perfect light layer.

Other things I'm loving, this wrap watch that my sister got me for Christmas.  I've been on the hunt for a new watch for a while and this was the perfect addition to my arm party.  Thanks J!
